London Marathon

Every year we have a number of runners drawn from the ranks of the Pattenmakers, our wider family and the charities we support. The Marathon appeal enables us to support our charities.

On April 21st we will have 9 places this year all raising a minimum of £2000 for our livery charities. Our runners are a complete range of abilities and age! With varying targets for success…. Paul Bennet is attempting a world record for Fastest Marathon in Flip-Flops and wishes to beat the time from his last record. We also have Past Master Ian Scarr-Hall running along with the uncle & nephew team of David and William Jeffery, both running their second London Marathon’s for the Pattenmakers.

There will be the Master marathon reception tbc with an opportunity to share training stories and encourage the runners to just keep going.

Please wish the Pattenmakers’ marathon team all the best with their training and success on the day!

The Pattenmakers’ team members include:

  • Paul Bennett
  • William Easterfield
  • Elyse Emanuel
  • David Jeffery
  • William Jeffery
  • Naimh McQuillan
  • George Paver
  • Sharon Reason
  • Ian Scarr-Hall

Please feel free to donate here on Enthuse.com or also via our JustGiving page – whichever platform you prefer – however, please note these platforms charge us as a charity for the transaction and then additionally try and charge those making the donating another 12.5% on top – you dont have to give that, in fact you can put the custom amount to £0 if you wish.
Alternatively just make a BACS donation directly to us and reference it Marathon 2024 or add the name of the runner you wish to support.

They would all greatly appreciate your support.
